Many working people often shift their houses. For them, it is difficult to produce an address proof issued by Government with latest address. Our India Post (Post Office) has come up with a solution.
Now you can get an address proof along with your photo from India post. Since the ID proof is issued by India post which is a Central Government organization, it is similar to other ID cards like Driving license, Voters ID etc. It can be used for opening bank accounts, for getting telephone and gas connections etc.
The total cost for getting this ID card is Rs.250/ (Rs.10 for application and Rs.240/- processing fee).
Do inform everybody. For more details enquire in the nearest post office.

Whose sign is on ONE rupee note?
Secretary, Ministry of Finance.
Reason : As rupee is the currency of our country and only govt has the authority to issue indian currency it has been signed by ministry of finance, all other notes are bearer notes which are signed by governor of RBI.
So when the note of 2 or more then that says that " I Promise to pay the bearer the sum of ----- rupees", it means that the note is actually a promisary note and will be paid using one rupee note or by coins.

Beggar shows he too can be a giver
Post from Times of India. This link wont work @ your job place...so here is a rare story
Ahmedabad: A beggar on Saturday proved that charity needs only a large heart and not deep pockets. Khimjibhai Prajapati, a 64-year old beggar in Mehsana, donated clothes to 11 poor hearing and speech impaired girls at the Shrimati Kesarbai Kilachand School for the Deaf.
It was a rare sight as an unkempt Khimjibhai, wearing tattered and unwashed clothes, limped to the school on his crutches and placed brand new clothes in the hands of 11 eager girls. Khimjibhai bought these clothes from his savings of Rs 3,000.
Khimjibhai has been begging outside the Simandhar Swami Jain Temple in Mehsana and outside the Hanuman Temple for the past decade. He lives around these temples and seeks alms from devotees.
“I just need two meals a day and some money to send back to my ailing wife in Rajkot to cure her ulcers and lung infection. Apart from this, whatever I earn I use it to buy food for poor, hungry people. Since a long time I wished to do something for girls and I am happy to donate for them,” said Khimjibhai.
One of the beneficiaries was Swati Bhagwandas, an orphan, who has been staying at the residential school since years. The 18-year old’s eyes shone up to express her gratitude and happiness.
Khimjibhai used to run a tea-stall in Rajkot but escalating prices, shrinking profit margins wreaked huge losses leaving him on the streets.
His faith in God brought him to Mehsana where he took shelter outside the Jain temple. “Whether rich or poor, one should always try to help the needy,” said Khimjibhai who helped an orphan girl get married sometime back.
“I have never seen such philanthropy in the 35 years of career. He just goes on to prove that the true donor is he who has one roti and shares half with the hungry,” said Bharat Shah, a trustee of the institution that runs the school.

Pune has a new Radio cab operator
We all have been using Wings Radio Cabs frequently coz it is the one available 24/7 at a reasonable rates. Good news is that there is another player in this field. Traveltime as we all know is a big company providing transport to many IT /Non-IT companies. They have now come-up with the Radio cab concept like Wings. You can avail its facility by dialing in 020-66000000 number and you can get a cab in 30 minutes time at your doorstep. The charges are pretty the same as Wings have.
The above service was supposed to start from 22nd June. As I have never used it till date, you will have to find out yourself about the service provided and then may be follow this post with your comments on comparison of Traveltime with Wings Radio Cab service.

Do not turn on A/C immediately as soon as you enter Your .... CAR!
Please open the windows after you enter your car and do not turn ON the
air-conditioning immediately. According to a research done, the car dashboard,
sofa, air freshener emits Benzene, a Cancer causing toxin (carcinogen- take note
of the heated plastic smell in your car). In addition to causing cancer, it poisons
your bones, causes anemia, and reduces white blood cells. Prolonged exposure
will cause Leukemia, increasing the risk of cancer may also cause miscarriage.
Acceptable Benzene level indoors is 50 mg per sq. ft. A car parked indoors with
the windows closed will contain 400-800 mg of Benzene. If parked outdoors
under the sun at a temperature above 60 degrees F, the Benzene level goes up
to 2000-4000 mg, 40 times the acceptable level... & the people inside the car will
inevitably inhale an excess amount of the toxins.
It is recommended that you open the windows and door to give time for
the interior to air out before you enter. Benzene is a toxin that affects your
kidney and liver, and is very difficult for your body to expel this toxic stuff.

Did you know? Adding Images 'from The Web'
If you choose to 'Add an Image from the Web' using the image upload feature in Blogger, you shouldn't use an image location that is hosted at someone else's expense without their permission. Sometimes this is referred to as 'stealing bandwidth' because every time your blog loads, the image is loaded from their server, and this person likely incurs an expense.

In a bonanza for residents of a Khar housing society, a builder has been buying off their mid-sized flats, paying each family between Rs 4 crore and Rs 5.5 crore. Mumbai-based Parinee Developers claims to have shelled out between Rs 4 crore to Rs 4.5 crore for a one-BHK flat and Rs 5 crore to Rs 5.5 crore for a two-and-a-half-BHK in the three-decade-old Bharatiya Bhavan Cooperative Housing Society. Parinee plans to demolish the buildings and set up a high-end residential tower.
VUVUZELA!!!!!!!!!!
The vuvuzela (English pronunciation: /vuːvuːˈzeɪlə/, also known as lepatata (its Tswana name), stadium horn and plastic trumpet, is a typical 65 cm (2 ft) plastic blowing horn that produces a loud, distinctive monotone B♭3 note (the B♭ below middle C). A similar instrument, known as the corneta, is used in Brazil and other Latin American countries. Many types of vuvuzela, made by several manufacturers, may produce varying intensity and frequency outputs.[1] The intensity of these outputs depends on the blowing technique and pressure exerted.[1]
